Dear Valued Community Members and Stakeholders,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to invite you to attend the 5th Annual Youth Resilience Conference, “Building Civil Society’s Capacity to Respond to Violent Extremism.” This two-day conference will occur on August 11- 12, 2023, at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
Date: August 11-12, 2023
Location: The Moot Room, University of Toronto Faculty of Law, University of Toronto 78 Queens Park, Toronto, ON M5S 2C5.
Midaynta Community Services organize this international youth-led conference in an effort to bring together different communities, sectors, actors, and stakeholders to share knowledge and discuss best practices. The conference’s major themes will be education, identity crisis, mental health, sense of belonging, and family connection. Your presence and participation will significantly help drive this conversation and engage communities in Ontario and beyond that are eager to learn more about this subject matter and how they can be catalysts for change.
Midaynta Community Services is a Canadian community organization that provides settlement services and other programs that advance education by providing courses, seminars, meetings, counselling, and other support services for refugees & immigrants in need. We hope you can join us at this year’s conference and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this conference.
