Dear Community Members,

Join us for the fourth installment of the Ask the Expert Workshop Series in July with Resident Leader Benjamin De Graaf as he brings DJ Classes to the Keele Community Hub.

Benjamin De Graaf, also known as DJ Elegance is a music curator and immersive event strategist. When he is not lighting up stages and event space across the GTA, he is mentoring, training, and teaching aspiring DJs through his DJ Academy or engaging youth in schools and communities through his arts-based educational workshops (Love Music Initiative). He does this to offer a culturally sensitive, safe space for youth to develop a positive connection to self, peers, and their community. Participants take part in dynamic and motivating programming that is focused on civic involvement, history, and student engagement as part of this multi-disciplinary, alternative arts program that uses Hip Hop culture, modern music, and popular culture as a tool for learning.
